This was an opportunity to contribute to a powerful narrative now streaming on Netflix. In this short film, Timothy Ware-Hill’s original poem is brought to life by a collective of artists, each interpreting a different segment. My role was to bookend the experience by creating the transition between reality and animation. I was responsible for moving Timothy from the "real world" into the hand drawn, animated universe of the film for the intro, and then grounding the audience back in reality for the outro. This required a precise blend of motion design and visual effects to ensure the shift felt intentional, seamless, and emotionally resonant with the heavy themes of the poem.

Created spot end to end. DESIGN STRATEGY Purposeful Pacing Structured the animation to create a clear emotional arc: tension → reassurance → action. Motion is restrained but intentional, allowing the message to land without overwhelming the viewer. Mobile First Legibility Designed with high contrast typography and generous negative space to ensure immediate clarity in a fast scrolling Facebook environment. Built the hierarchy so the full narrative is immediately understandable without audio. Empathetic Framing Focused on a lived moment of frustration to reflect the emotional reality of the target audience. Added “Covered by Medicare” as a visual anchor to directly address the primary hesitation point and improve click through rate.

Six seconds. One bold flavor. This spec piece for Sanzo Sparkling Water is a high energy exploration of their signature Calamansi flavor, packed into a punchy, snackable format. I took the vibrant branding of Sanzo and translated it into a playful 2D animation designed to grab attention in a scroll heavy world. The goal was to capture that sharp, citrusy "zing" through snappy motion and bright, refreshing visuals; proving that you don’t need a long runtime to leave a lasting impression.
